On 19 March, a new library opened in the village Qvemo Khalatsani, with the support of the National Parliamentary library of Georgia Library. The event was organized by Women Information Centre.

The library was established within the framework of the project “Gender -Sensitive Information in Georgia for Gender Equality”

The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia donated over 500 books to the library. The opening ceremony was attended by local authorities, representatives of the National Library and Women Information Centre.
