A Comprehensive English-Georgian Online Dictionary became available through the internal network of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 21 June 2011.

A Comprehensive English-Georgian Online Dictionary has been available at the address www.dictionary.ge since 2010, with registration and fee payment required for the users.  After the agreement between the National Library and Lexicographic Center of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University the dictionary is available free of charge for the readers of the National Library.

A Comprehensive English-Georgian Online Dictionary was based on thirteen volumes of Comprehensive English-Georgian Dictionary, which have been published since 1995 by the Lexicographic Center of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Tina Margalitadze being the editor in chief. The two dictionaries are not identical. The digital one includes the revised version of several volumes of the dictionary and the part that is not yet printed.

A Comprehensive English-Georgian Online Dictionary containing technical terms is useful not only for English language specialists, translators, students and English language learners, but also for specialists of various disciplines.
