Photo exhibition Thai at the NPLG
 31/05/2010

In the last four days of May (27-31), the NPLG exhibition hall has been hosting an exhibition of 40 photos by Mindia Midelashvili. The exhibition named Thai is the photographer’s "report” on his long journey to Thailand.

Mindia’s exhibition is a detailed story about the country, "where hotels, internet, and telephone are still luxury items, where the main communication language is a smile, and where life is indeed wonderful”.

Floating market, dancing elephants, long-neck "giraffe women”, Buddhist temples, and humans "playing” with snakes – all this caught by photographer’s camera in a very attractive manner.

Mindia is the first Georgian to have lived in the Tiger Temple (Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua) and captured his impressions on the film.

Along with the photos, guests can watch the documentary shot by the author during his journey.

The Thai diaries will also be published in the nearest future.
