Rezo Gabriadze Film Studies Library and Cinema Hall at the National Library

On June 29, the presentation of Rezo Gabriadze Film Library and Cinema Hall was held in the exhibition hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia. Rezo Gabriadze would have turned 85 on June 29.

The Gabriadze family handed the archive of Rezo Gabriadze to the National Library that contains the books: “Sherekilebi", "Doctor and the Sick", an art album published by Pushkin Museum, publications with illustrations by Rezo Gabriadze. The family will also donate a unique photo archive to the library, which includes photos taken on filming locations. The library has already been given posters of films based on Rezo Gabriadze screenplays, which have been digitized and interesting collages have been created for the walls of the Cinema Hall.

The publications of Rezo Gabriadze, preserved at the collections of the National Library, were displayed at the Exhibition Hall, among which are the scenarios of "Do Not Cry" and "Unusual Exhibition". Among the exhibits was the first poster of the film "Sherekilebi".
