The scientific expedition to Turkey, financed by Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation and King Tamar University and supported by the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, is underway.

Together with the scientist and researchers, Mirian Khositashvili, Deputy General Director of the National Library, also participates in the expedition, which aims at researching of material and spiritual culture of Georgians living in the Black Sea Region of Republic of Turkey, as well as demographic situation, area of habitation, language problems, Georgian communities and associations.

The members of the expedition express special gratitude for help to Tufan Shapac Lominadze and Femi Uzal Ustiashvili.
