From 2012 to present, the National Library donated 19 654 books to regional libraries. The process of handing books to municipality libraries was accompanied by different cultural-educational events with participation of local residents, especially young people.  

The action of this scale has been the first to be carried out in Georgia In recent years. It contributed to renovation of collections of the regional libraries, as well as to arouse interest of young people in modern literature. Almost all the publishing houses supported the National Library to implement this project, for what we express our gratitude.
