The National Library at Book Festival
 29/05/2014

The Book Festival at which the National Parliamentary Library will be represented in an interesting, different from previous years format, opens at Expo Georgia on 29 May.

The National Library addresses individuals willing to participate in the festival to take with them family photos. Representatives of the National Library will scan the photos and post them in the Photo Chronicles of the National Library within the framework of the joint project “Create Photo Chronicles Together” that has been implementing by the National Library and the company Geocell for several months.

Within the framework of the festival, the National Library collects the books for the library of the village Joshkha, Ambrolauri region. With the help of similar actions implemented by the National Library many village libraries have been provided with modern literature throughout Georgia.

The National Library Children’s Corner will host the young visitors of the festival. The children will have the opportunity to read the books, paint and take part in different games.

Activities will be held until the end of the festival (through June 1).
