On May 18, at 17 p.m. at the NPLG Conference Hall Jemal Kiria will meet his readers and acquaint the audience with his works in 11 volumes.

  In the nearest future, the NPLG is to receive four copies of the album ‘The Trip of Georgian Poet Akaki Tsereteli to Racha-Lechkhumi in 1912’.

  On May 5, the exhibition hall of the NPLG hosted the presentation of the report on violations of human rights and humanitarian law during the Russian-Georgian war of the August 2008.

  April 30 – The visitors of the National Library witnessed a wonderful synthesis of two forms of art – music and painting. Keti Todadze’s personal exhibition at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia was accompanied with the performance by Veka Svanidze’s students.

  Japanese experts selected these books as best 100 books for understanding Japan. Economy, business, politics and international relations, as well as art, literature, culture and history of Japan are covered by this set of books.

4 March, 16:00 – at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia takes place a presentation of the project – “Treasures of the Georgian Prose” and the first book published within the framework of the project – The Man Who Loved Literature Very Much. The project is organized by publishing house “Media Palitra” and magazine “Gza”.   

  The NPLG exhibition hall hosts the exposition by Irakli Tsabadze. The exposition starts February 25, 5 p.m.

    The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia received the copies of the Khariton Shavishvili’s private archival materials.
