The nominees for Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award from Georgia will be named at Ilia State University book shop “Ligamus” on 23 April at 14:00.

The Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Diaspora Issues will hand to the Ministry of Culture and Monuments protections and the National Library digital versions of ancient manuscripts, brought from the British Library, at the National Library on 17 April at 12:00.

On 16 April, Giorgi Kekelidze, the General Director of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia and other representatives of the National Library visited Akhalsheni school in Tsalka Region and donated 400 books.

On 15 April, the delegation from the State Archive of Turkey led by Iun Unal, the General Director, visited the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

On 14 April, the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili, and the General Director of the National Library, Giorgi Kekelidze, opened an exhibition dedicated to the Day of Mother Language at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

On 7 April, at 14:00, Giorgi Kekelidze, the General Director of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, and David Kbilashvili, Regional Director Caucasus at Cambridge Study Tbilisi Office, signed the Memorandum of Understanding.

The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia joins the action “Wandering Books” with the co-action “Home Wandering Books at the National Library”.
