The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

დაიბადა თბილისში. მოჭადრაკე. საერთაშორისო დიდოსტატი (1979). ორჯერ ითამაშა მსოფლიო ჩემპიონის ტიტულისთვის მატჩში: 1988 წელს მაია ჩიბურდანიძესთან (7,5:8,5), 1991-ში – სე ცზიუნთან (2,5:8,5). მსოფლიოს საჭადრაკო ოლიმპიადების ხუთგზის ჩემპიონი (1980, 82 – სსრკ ნაკრებში; 1992, 94, 96 – საქართველოს ნაკრებში), მეორე (2002) და მესამე (1998) პრიზიორი. სსრკ ოთხგზის ჩემპიონი (1981, 82, 86, 87). გოგონებს შორის ევროპის ორგზის ჩემპიონი (1978, 79). ვახტანგ გორგასლის III ხარისხის ორდენის კავალერი.
