The Biographical Dictionary of Georgian Athletes covers Georgians and citizens of Georgia who played an important role in the history of Georgian sport and won at least one prize in any sport competition. The Biographical Dictionary contains winners of Georgian and International competitions, including Soviet Games and Spartakiads.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of all Georgian athletes.

Biography

დაიბადა თბილისში. ხელბურთის მწვრთნელი. თბილისის “ბურევესტნიკისა” (1957-67) და სსრკ ნაკრების (1965-68) მთავარი მწვრთნელი. მისი ხელმძღვანელობით “ბურევესტნიკი” ორჯერ გახდა სსრკ ჩემპიონი (1962, 64), სამჯერ – მეორე (1965, 66, 67) და მესამე (1963) პრიზიორი. სსრკ ნაკრებმა მისი თავკაცობით მსოფლიოს ჩემპიონატში (1967) IV ადგილი დაიკავა. იყო თბილისის სპორტკომიტეტის თავმჯდომარე (1968-73). სსრკ დამსახურებული მწვრთნელი.
