The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

The project aims at publishing the biographies of outstanding Georgians. We hope that whole Georgia will be involved in filling this unique dictionary.

Biography

ხევსური სახალხო გმირი სოფელ ბაცალიგოს თემიდან, 1659 წლის კახეთის აჯანყების მონაწილე, ხევსურთა ჯარის წინამძღოლი. გადმოცემის მიხედვით, აჯანყების სხვა მეთაურებთან ერთად შეუპყრიათ და შაჰისათვის მიუგვრიათ სპარსეთში, სადაც წამებით მოუკლავთ. ვაჟა-ფშაველას "ბახტრიონის" ერთ-ერთი მთავარი პერსონაჟის (ხოშარეულის) პროტოტიპია.
