The dictionary is supported by the National Library of Georgia.

Biography

კახეთის დიდი თავადი, დედოფლის სახლთუხუცესი. 1614 წელს ქართლ-კახეთის თავადთა ერთ ჯგუფთან ერთად შაჰ-აბას I-ს ეახლა განჯას. 1615 წელს შაჰმა დავით ჯანდიერთან ერთად კახეთის გამგებლად დანიშნა. 1618 წელს თეიმურაზ I-სა და მის ოჯახს ახლდა გურიასა და სამცხე-საათაბაგოში. ერევნის ბეგლარბეგის ამირგუნე-ხანის თავდასხმის დროს (1618) მან გადაარჩინა თეიმურაზის ოჯახი, რომელიც იმჟამად ქ. ოლთისში იმყოფებოდა.
