The topics of social adaptation of children with weak audibility and the intensification of school teaching process are discussed in this work.
The author considers the achievements of contemporary science in early diagnosing of the condition of hearing in the newborns, in developing hearing perception from the first months of life, which undoubtedly would have a positive influence on the further teaching and upbringing of children with poor audibility. Basing on principal methods of work with children with poor audibility the author represents the improved solving of this problem.
The method represented in the referred work is based on the development of speech perception. The influence of infringement of hearing on forming oral speech is discussed. The revealing of this defect is carried out with help of auditory methods. The aim of auditory work is determined by hearing function of children with poor audibility. The author sees the general aim of hearing work to create a prerequisite for more vast usage of remaining function of hearing in upbringing process, teaching and in forming oral speech in children with poor audibility.
On the basis of developing of hearing function is formed the ability of child to perceive by hearing the example of teacher's speech and to imitate it and to control own pronunciation.
The author gives rather exhaustive formulation of the goals of the auditory work, the organizing and principles of work on development of hearing perception, concretization general and private demands towards speech perception teaching.
