In the political science typology of reason and thought reason is considered a trick i.d. skill and adroitness thanks to which it likens and aligns itself to the hostile element, neutralizing or involving it in its own order. The so-called rationalized feeling is the result of precisely such adroitness. This has given rise to a "learned" world of feelings aligned to reason; it opposed reason with its own weapon: trick. The revolt of learned feelings proved ruinous to the inner constitution of man. "learned feelings in the form of various mythosophies invaded the most intimate layers of human consciousness. This urgently placed their demythologization and deoccupation on the agenda. An end had to be put to the confrontation of feeling and reason, heart and thought by means of the convertion of mind. Such convertion is the content of the new political humanism. It does not strive for a forceful involvement of the theological layer of man's being in the new order of reason. Its method is abandon rather than coercion - leaving a thing to be what it is so that it might unfold und display itself autonomously. The only thing to be done is to facilitate this process of self-birth. The new political thinking is the midwife of the future order of reason; it facilitates to growth of new political truths.
