The works of Noe Zhordania are discussed in the monograph. He created them both in Georgia and in emigration; most of the works are unknown for Georgian society.
According to political analysis of this work, the author represents Noe Zhordania as one of the first Georgian political scientists and Sovietologists. The author argues, that Noe Zhordania had proved crash of Communism and disintegration of Soviet Union before many famous western Sovietologists (Pipes, Bzhezinsky). Noe Zhordania's works have the international value.

The reasons of opposition between Ilya Chavchavadze and Noe Zhordania during national-liberation movement are shown in the article. According to author's opinion the theory of Ilya Chavchavadze "the common basis" was only correct way for the decision of the national problems facing Georgia. It is shown that opposition between Ilya Chavchavadze and Noe Zhordania had no personal character; it was the continuation of struggle between "fathers and sons".

The views of well-known representatives of the Georgian Democratic Republic (1918-1921) - chairman of government Noe Zhordania and commander-in-chief Giorgi Kvinitadze, are considered in the article. The reasons of annexation of independent Georgia by Bolshevik Russia, on February 25, 1921 are also presented.
Noe Zhordania counted that principal cause of loss of independence was the international isolation of Georgia. Giorgi Kvinitadze, together with these factors, counted as one of the significant reasons insufficient preparation for war and mistakes in its organization.

Noe Zhordania counted as a mistake orientation of the Georgian Kingdoms to Russia. It has caused strengthening of discontent and an aggravation of enmity from Iran and Turkey. According to Zhordania's view Russia and Georgia have different ways of development. Participation of Georgia in Russian social experiments is unfair and dangerous. Georgia should enter the European family independently.
