Crisis of Spiritual Culture under Globalization

The ongoing process of Globalization has affected all spheres of social life resulting into unequal consequences. Such differences are the main cause of different attitudes towards Globalization itself. One part is called Globalists, another one – anti Globalists. Therefore, it is important to separate the spheres in which we could benefit from Globalization and those ones, in which, it could be of harm.

I personally think that culture and art contribute to just such a field, but not culture in general - of human creation, but spiritual culture and art.

And yet, why does culture oppose the process of Globalization, why has it become that principally unacceptable? Because Globalization stands for similarity, elimination of borders, strife for unity; while culture can not bear such an attitude.

The majority of scientists suppose that Globalization opposes national identity and values - while in reality Globalization just eliminates anything national. Not that it destroys national – it just does not exist where national does. Both of Globalization and National have there own spheres of expansion.
