Biography

დაიბადა ქ. ქუთაისში. 1882 წელს დაამთავრა კიევის უნივერსიტეტის სამედიცინო ფაკულტეტი. ქუთაისის ქალაქის ამბულატორიის ექიმი. სტუდენტობის დროიდან თანამშრომლობდა გაზეთ "დრობა" სთან. ქუთაისის ქალაქის საბჭოს ხმოსანი. 1901 წელს აირჩიეს ქუთაისის გუბერნიის თავად-აზნაურობის წინამძღოლად, ამავე წელს ებოძა უმაღლესი კარის კამერჰერობა. ყავდა მეუღლე იუსტინა ივანეს ას. პოსტნიკოვა. ძმაა ქუთაისის საჯარო ბიბლიოთეკის დამაარსებლის ანტონ ლორთქიფანიძის.
