დაამთავრა თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის სამკურნალო ფაკულტეტი 1963 წელს.

1963–1966წწ. იყო ჭიათურის მედიკო–სანიტარული ნაწილის ქირურგი; 1966 წლიდან თბილისის სახელმწიფო სამედიცინო ინსტიტუტის N1 კლინიკის ქირურგ–ორდინატორი. ავტორია 8 სამეცნიერო ნაშრომის: სივაშის სისტემის ტიტანისგან დამზადებული მუხლის სახსრის გადანერგვის ტექნიკის პრობლემებზე. არის უმაღლესი კატეგორიის ქირურგი, მედიცინის მეცნიერებათა კანდიდატი.

საკანდიდატო დისერტაციის თემა - "სივაშის სიისტემის მუხლის ხელოვნური სახსრის ექსპერიმენტული დასაბუთება", დაიცვა 1974 წელს.
