There is no certainty about the time of introduction of the plum Anna späth in Georgia. By all means at the present time trees 40-50 years old are met sometimes.
Single specimens are found nearly in all districts. This sort deserves attention as a heavy producer, bearing early. Its crop repens late, at the end of September.
Anna Späth is a standard, well tried sort for the majority of districts in Georgia.
The fruit, for a late one, is good when used fresh, and also for drying and canning.
