Ontario is an Italian plum, introduced quite recently and met only in collections.

This sort has the merits of heavy productivity, early time of ripening, large handsome fruits, resistance to Laspeyresia.

Crop ripens at the end of July and in the beginning of August (Gori district). Ripening on the tree protracted.

Ontario is a perspective early table sort for suburban and watering places zones.
