Reine Claude d’Altan It is one of the best group of Reine Claudes. Handsome, well flavoured fruit, considerable resistance to diseases and pests, heavy yiel ding early, bearing, are listed among its merits, though cold humid weather causes the cracking of the fruits on the tree.
Crop ripens in mid august.
The fruits of Reine Claude d’Altan are excellent when used or canned for compote.
