On 20 January, in the conference hall of the National Library took place a presentation of the book “Europeana” by Patrik Ourjednik. The event was organized by the publishing house “Pegas” (director Marina Tskhadaia).

On January 12, in the conference hall of the National Library took place the presentation of the book Yuri Zhivago’s Verses (from the novel Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak) translated from Russian into Georgian by Batu Danelia.  

On January 11, in the exhibition hall of the National Library took place the New Year concert by the chamber ensemble Concertino Tbilissi (conductor Giorgi Shilakadze).

The rich photo and documentary archive of the distinguished Georgian public person of the 19th century was published as an album. On January 5, in the Exhibition Hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia took place the presentation of the album.

On December 24, the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, publishing group Geo Ex Publishing and “Cézanne” presented the five-volume edition We and the Knight in the Panther’s Skin.  

On 22 December, in the exhibition hall of the National Parliamentary Library took place the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the first Georgian printing house founded by King Vakhtang VI.

On 23 December, in the conference hall of the National Library took place the closing ceremony of the literary project My Novella.

On December 17, in the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia the musical evening dedicated to the Georgian opera performer, Public Artist of Georgia, a famous baritone Batu Kraveishvili was held. The 16 of December was the birthday of Batu (Bartlome) Kraveishvili – he would be 95.
