On 16 December, in the exhibition hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, a closing ceremony of the 16-Day Campaign against Gender-Based Violence took place.

On 15 December, at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, a new project by Triasi publishing house, two-volume anthology Literary Masterpieces, was presented. A group of philologists have worked on the anthology under the guidance of Mr. Gia Murgulia. In the two-volume publication, there are 38 Georgian and 63 foreign masterpieces of classical literature. It is the first time that a project of this kind has been implemented in Georgia; though, similar practice has existed overseas for a long time.

On 11 December, in the exhibition hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, a presentation of the Georgian Europeans Association took place. The Association was founded by the Georgian youths supporting the European values and willing to apply the European experience in the Georgian society.  

On 9 December, 6 p.m., the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia will host Keti Gzirishvili's poetry evening.

On 4 December, at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, a Memorandum between the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia and the legal firm “Mgaloblishvili, Kipiani, Dzidziguri” was concluded.    

  December 1st 2009 sees the launch of the website enabling access to the digitized archives of two Neuchâtel daily newspapers, L’Express and L’Impartial

  On December 1, the Days of the Iranian Culture opened at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia.

    October 24, the museum of Josef Ratil was opened in the town of Dobsice near Prague, Czech Republic.
