The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia donated over 300 books to Letsurtsume Public School.

On 7 March, the National Library signed the memorandum of understanding with the students’ NGO “New Life”.

On 1 March, at 14:00, Giorgi Kekelidze, the General Director of the National Library, and Mamuka Khazaradze, the Chairman of TBC Bank Supervisory Board, will sign the Memorandum of Understanding according to which TBC Bank will support the National Library in searching, transfer and disposal of the emigration literature.

On 27 February, Giorgi Kekelidze, the General Director, and other representatives of the National Library met with IDPs in Rustavi Culture Centre and donated over 300 books. The event was held within the framework of the project „Assistance for IDPs; Civic Education and Inclusion”.

From 15 February to 15 March, BBC ACADEMY (the College of Journalism) databases are available to the National Library Users.

Manuchar Kachakhideze, Georgian emigrant living in America and editor-publisher of journal “Mamuli”, handed a ten-year archive of the journal “Mamuli” to the National library.

On 16 February, within the visit of the General Director of the National Library, Giorgi Kekelidze, Shota Rustaveli Georgian Library opened in the premises of Georgian church in Munich.
