On 15 February, the meeting with displaced people was held in IDP settlement in the village of Gori region, Khurvaleti, war-affected border region. The event was held within the framework of the project „Assistance for IDPs; Civic Education and Inclusion”, envisaging the inclusion and integration of the displaced people in the society.

On 12 February, the presentation of German translations of poems by Giorgi Kekelidze, Diana Anpimiadi and Irma Shiolashvili was held in Frankfurt.

Giorgi Kekelidze, the General Director of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia is paying the visit to Germany. The agreement on opening Georgian Library in Munich Main Library has been reached within the visit.

The presentation of the “Corpus of Georgian Dialects” will be held at the Conference Hall of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia on 6 February, 2014 at 18:00. The event is held within the framework of the National Library and Ivane Javakhishvili State University Arnold Chikobava Institute of Linguistics join project “Linguistic Portrait of Georgia”.

On 6 February, the representatives of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia visited Dvani Municipality and donated 500 books.

On 31 January, the General Director of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia, Giorgi Kekelidze, met with the Speaker of the Parliament, David Usupashvili. The working plan of the National Library was discussed during the meeting.

On 27 January, representatives of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia donated books to the settlement of IDPs in Galavani. The event was held within the framework of the project „Assistance for IDPs; Civic Education and Inclusion”.

On 23 January, representatives of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia handed over 300 books to Shuakhevi central library.
