On 27 January, representatives of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia donated books to the settlement of IDPs in Galavani. The event was held within the framework of the project „Assistance for IDPs; Civic Education and Inclusion”.

On 23 January, representatives of the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia handed over 300 books to Shuakhevi central library.

From 22 January, STRATFOR Global Intelligence and Elgaronline databases are available for the National Library users at every reading hall for one month.

On 22 January, Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia, Guram Odisharia, met with the representatives of art circles.

On 20 January, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia and Soviet Past Research Laboratory.

The National Parliamentary Library of Georgia has signed memorandums with various educational organizations including language courses and training centers. The memorandums envisage bilateral cooperation between the National Library and these institutions. Within the framework of the memorandum, the National Library provides the organizations with its halls and collections free of charge; in turn the educational organizations contribute to the National Library staff qualification development.

On 15 January, at 15:00, U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland opens Pulitzer Corner at the National Library. Pulitzer Prize-winning books by American authors will be donated to the National Library.

From 15 January to 15 March, Australian Contemporary Arts Media databases are available for users at the National Library Reading Halls via the National Library Anglo-American Reading Hall.
