Peach-plum - Synonyms: Red nectarine, Royal, Alibukhara (in Karthalinia).
Single trees the Peach-plum are met in the Tbilissi suburban orchards and in the districts of Gori and Caspi.
It is esteemed as an early sort giving large handsome fruits, though having the defects of unsatisfactory flavor and only fair productivity.
Fruits are used for preparing compote.
Peach-plum will take its due, for an early sort, place in the suburban zones and inthose of canning factories.
Fruit ripen in Western Georgia in midjuly, and in the district of Gori at the end of this month.
